Hi, I’m Charles Buurma. I’m a husband and a father of (so far) three. I’m also the founder of the Farmhouse Collective, a community of brands dedicated to fostering family, creativity, and purpose through timeless products and meaningful stories. But beyond the business, I’m on a personal journey of faith, family, and growth.

My life hasn’t always been easy. I’ve walked through difficult seasons, from growing up in a challenging family environment to facing struggles with mental health as an adult. But through it all, I’ve learned that our past doesn’t define us, and it’s never too late to embrace healing from God and live a purposeful life.

As a Christian, I believe that God is the foundation of everything we do. I’m committed to raising my children with the values of love, respect, and Godliness. I want to be the kind of parent who models resilience, and wisdom—qualities I hope they’ll carry with them as they grow into adulthood.

This blog is where I share my thoughts on parenting, the ups and downs of life, and the wisdom I’ve gathered along the way. I’ll be talking about everything from mental health to building a family, raising children with purpose, and navigating life as an entrepreneur.
