There was one person, the only one I trusted to be a true Christian, who helped me at my lowest point. In that moment, when giving up seemed easier, I chose to ask for help. I chose life. This decision changed everything. Mentorship, something I was taught to reject, became the very thing that saved me. It introduced me to Jesus, whose love and redemption transformed my life. Even now, I still struggle with depression, but the war has already been won. In my darkest moments, I learned that truth and support are key to overcoming the lies that mental health struggles often stem from.
